Congratulations !! Our QMS riased $350.00 for the Acid Rain Retirement Fund. Our student council matched the amount the fund raiser made giving us a grand total of $700. With this amount of money this group will now have the power to remove around 3 tons of pollution out of the atmosphere. Currently a ton of pollution goes for a little over $200.00/ ton. As discussed in class we need to think of a feasable way, and I stress feasable (meaning manageable and appropriate) way to raise money for this fund. What a way to contribute to the “Global Community.” This is an excellent opportunity that YOU have to improve our environment. Whatever activity we use to raise money, it will need to be approved by Mr. Silvernell. Think, Think, Think.
