Cell phones in the classroom?
Many students use phones every day. Many students use them in school aginst school policy. Would they be practical in an educational setting? What is your opinion on this idea?

i think it would be great to be aloud to use cell phones in school. why you may ask well i think it would be cool because kids love to use them and maybe if they were aloud to use them in school they would also pay a little more attention to the teacher instead of trying to hide their cell phones from the teacher. well at least i would anyway..

I think cell phones will help in ceritain situation’s. like the apple i-phone you can do more than just phone people, you can be on google, adn they have calulators.

Hi Mr. Hubert,
I use my cellphone everyday but i never take it to class with me. I wait until i am on the bus. Having your cell phone in class with you just takes your attention away from what your supposed to be doing. Another is that people could be texting you answers to the test you are taking. If something would happen that your mom or dad would want you to have your cell phone in case of emergencies then thats okay, but the chances of that a re slim to nothing. I must say though I can’t live without my cellphone i am texting the moment I am out of school. My dad had to finally get me texting on my phone.

i think that cellphones could be practical in an educational setting because if you need to be contacted in case of emergency you will be able to because you would have your cellphone with you.

i think cell phones would be practical in an educational stting, because they’re good for emergencies, calculator, time, and the more advanced the phones get, the more practical they are. It’s kinda like how some schools require their students to bring laptops everyday. Cell phones are almost just as good :]
